REVEREND HENRY A. WILSON, JR.

Reverend Henry A. Wilson, Jr., a proud native of Hartford, Connecticut, has embarked on a unique path in his ministry. His journey, which began with three years of service in the United States Marine Corps, is a testament to his unwavering dedication and discipline. Yielding to the leading of God, he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where he pursued his education at American Baptist College, graduating in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts

degree in Bible and Theology. His thirst for knowledge and personal growth led him to further his studies, earning a Master of Science in Counseling from Tennessee State University and pursuing additional studies towards a Master of Theological Studies degree in religion from Lipscomb University. With 40 years of experience in ministry, Reverend Wilson has served in various roles, each highlighting his diverse skill set. His experience encompasses pastoring, community outreach, mentoring new Christians, program management, and spiritual enrichment within the church. His ministry is driven by a deep desire to serve and uplift all of humanity, a testament to his versatility and adaptability. Reverend Wilson's preaching and insightful teaching, coupled with the numerous gifts and talents bestowed upon him by God, have facilitated the expansion of his ministry. He founded Moriah Ministries, Incorporated, and has established affiliations with organizations such as the NAACP, Urban League of Middle Tennessee, and the Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship (IMF). He is the proud father of three and grandfather of four. He remains dedicated to his calling, fervently aspiring to "Serve this present age, his calling to fulfill." In August 2024, Reverend Wilson was named Pastor at the Greater Pleasant View Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. This honor allows him to lead a ministry with a rich history and a promising future.
